The GSS Nyassoso ex-students Association, NEXSANs massively answered present in Kumba Saturday October 19, 2024 to condole with the family of the late Magistrate Koge Ndille Frankline in their grief and pay their last respect to the fallen Great NEXSAN.
Justice Kogendille Franklin Mesumbe, died in Douala early September 9 ,2024 after a brief illness.
Family, friends, school and classmates, professional and church groups all thronged to Kumba to express their profound sadness, despair, regrets at the untimely passing away of a close and intimate friend.
He was not only a cherished member of 79ner family 6th Batch and assiduous NEXSAN, community elite but also a distinguished magistrate, jurist and a lovely father, head of family.
NEXSANS and other mourners could barely hold back their tears as they shared in the painful exit of a valiant soldier of the law, an ardent Christian of the Macedonia baptist Church, Kang Barombi in Kumba.
A series of heartfelt eulogies paying tribute to the deceased life, sharing fond memories, and providing comfort to family members and friends were delivered during the church service.
Speaking on behalf of NEXSANs Barrister Etape Linus pointed out the deceased exhibited values imbued in former students of GSS Nyassoso, that of humility, the fear of God and and love for one another.
“ That Magistrate Koge Ndille died as a true Christian as testified by the pastor here today and the Christain Men Association is not strange to us NEXSANs because we were trained back in school in that way. The fear of God, respect for seniors, love for one another were values enshrined in us in GSS Nyassoso,” Etape said.
According to a professional colleague and brother of the deceased,Justice Metiege DIVINE, Justice Kogendille was a beacon of integrity, justice, and compassion. From an early age, he exhibited a keen intellect and a profound sense of fairness, traits that would define his illustrious career in the judiciary. His unwavering commitment to justice and the rule of law earned him the respect and admiration of his peers, colleagues, and the community at large.
“In his professional life, Justice Kogendille Franklin served with distinction and honour. His judgements were always characterized by thoroughness, fairness, and an unyielding dedication to upholding the law. He believed deeply in the power of the legal system to bring about positive change and to safeguard the rights and freedoms of all individuals. His work was not just a career but a calling, one that he pursued with relentless passion and unwavering dedication,” Justice Metiege attest.
Beyond the courtroom, Justice Kogendille Franklin was a loving father ,brother, a caring friend, and a mentor to many. His wisdom, guidance, and kindness touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, the family testified.
He was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration to his Ngusi family community, always ready with a kind word or a piece of sage advice.
Justice Kogendille Franklin’s legacy is not just in the numerous cases he adjudicated or the legal precedents he set, but in the lives he touched and the difference he made in the world. He leaves behind a legacy of justice, compassion, and integrity that will continue to inspire and guide others, his professional colleagues testified..
Today, as we say our final goodbye, we remember Justice Kogendille Franklin not just for his professional achievements but for the loving, compassionate, and principled man he was. His spirit will live on in our hearts and in the values he championed, one of them said.

It was another unique opportunity for the classmates of the deceased, NEXSA 79-84 to congregate and grieve the loss of a batch mate so dear but also have some downtime to unwind together after a long while. Over 16 of them answered present coming from far and near.
The late Koge Ndille Mesumbe Frankline died at the early age of 58. May his soul RIP.
