The Epie-Alobwede Family of Muedib, Muambong in KupeMuanenguba, with heavy hearts and immense sorrow announce the passing of their beloved father Pa Epie James Alobwede. Born on January 1, 1948 in Muedip Muambong in KupeMuanenbuga.
Pa Epie James peacefully joined his ancestors on Sunday October 27, 2024 at Mt Mary Catholic Hospital Buea.
Pa James, Pa Epie, Pa Alobwede, or Jimsy as he was fondly called, served in various capacities for the catholic community and in the civil administration of the Southwest region. He retired as chief of bureau, finance at the governor’s office and later served as Lord Mayor of Bangem , 2002-2007.
