Expressing satisfaction with the development achievements of their son Elung Paul Che, Minister, assistant secretary general at the Presidency, Kupe-Muanenguba chiefs at the Grand thank you meeting in Bangem May 3, 2025, said they were grateful to the Minister for being the mouth piece of Kupemuanenguba people to the head of state and for his good works in terms of infrastructure projects and empowerment of especially the youths, women and farmers in their community.
The KupeMuanenguba traditional rulers endorsed Minister Elung Paul as the flag bearer of the division and gave him a traditional blessing to continue in his drive to bring development and improve the well-being of the community.
” We the chiefs KupeMuanenguba have likened you to Angel Gabriel in the Bible who brought good news to his people. We give you our blessings to forge ahead with this development spirit for the well-being of your people,” the President of Kupemuanenguba Chiefs conference Chief. Nnane said.
The traditional authorities offered their son the Minister a traditional bag and broom as Symbols of power to continue in his development drive.
President of the Kupe Muanenguba Chiefs Conference, Paramount Ruler Chief Nnane Nnoko Emmanuel, also hailed President Biya as the protector of the defenceless.
A symbolic traditional talking drum was offered to the head of state to pass on messages of peace to his people.
The Chief’s also endorsed President Paul Biya as their candidate for the 2025 elections.
Their endorsement of President Biya according to Chief Nnane was their recognition for his love for the people of Kupemuanenguba.
He urged his subjects to register and vote for him in the upcoming presidential elections. As custodians of the land, he pledged that they would jealously guard the precious gift of the road, promising to take action against anyone planning to destroy it.
