CPDM KM 111 Promoting peace and togetherness through sports
A promise made, is a promise kept. The Football tournament for *Western Bakossi* zone which the Kupe Muanenguba III Section President, Comrade Mbulle Valentine promised the youth of Western Bakossi during his contact tour last April has kicked-off in Bajoh, this Thursday July 17, 2025.
The tournament opening game pitted *Melongo FC* against *Menge FC* in a highly contested encounter.
The tourney with a mouthwatering cash prize donated by the Section president Mbulle Valentine brings together eight teams which will flex their musles in the weeks ahead.
The ongoing tournament with mouthwatering cash prize donated by the CPDM III Section president Mbulle Valentine, brings the youth together and keeps them busy especially during holidays.
Apart from just keeping the youth of Western Bakossi busy during this holiday season, the Section President’s initiative is also to encourage budding talents as well as promote living together, peace and social cohesion in the Western Bakossi community.
It should be noted that the Section President of Kupe Muanenguba III was spurred by the enthusiasm and mobilisation during his maiden visit to Western Bakossi Community (Nyandong)and their anxiety to inscribe their names on the electoral list ahead of the October presidential election.
The tournament is on course and it is attracting hundreds of spectators from the different villages that make up the Western Bakossi and even part of Konye and its environs in Meme Division.
