The Enyandong Development and Cultural Association,EDECA is organizing fund raising for the completion of the Rt. Rev Abraham Ngole Memorial chapel in Eyandong.
The annual fund raising has been slated on February 28 2026 in Enyandong. “This fund raising is to engage in the second phase of the Rt Rev Abraham Ngole Memorial chapel, the pioneer PCC Moderator,” Akume Danis Ebong, EDECA President General told ECO OUTLOOK.
EDECA the socio-economic and development arm of the Enyandong village has over the years been strategizing on how best to improve development in the community.
“The building of this historic Memorial Chapel is one of those community investments in Eyandong,” Akume said.
He pointed out that EDECA with the support for well wishers is committed in 2026 to engage in the second phase of a befitting PCC Church( chapel) in homour of the late Rt Rev. Abraham Ngole
“You know that the pioneer PCC Moderator the Rt Rev Abraham Ngole came from Enyandong,” he said.
In collaboration with the Enyandong PCC congregation the roofing of this church structure was done in 2025.
This year EDECA envisages to complete the finishing of this historic edifice, he added.
It is against this backdrop that appeal letters ( attached below) have been sent to well wishers and the general public to support the cultural association realize this lofty project.
“ We are appealing to lovers of development and culture to come to our aid and support during this fund raising drive,” Akume said.
