GSS Muebah Nninong, representing the South West Region, is champion of the 2026 FENASCO A GAMES. The edged the Littoral representatives, 4-5 goals after penalty shootout.
The full time game ended goalless draw.
It should be recalled that the Southwest representative secured a place in the finals following a tense penalty shootout victory over West Region .
The regional clash ended goalless after 90 minutes of regulation time, with both South West and West Region unable to break the deadlock despite end-to-end action at Bafoussam.
Just like their régional qualification in the Southwest and semin- finals in Bafoussam the matches ended in a stalemate forcing a penalty shootout. The South West goalkeeper from GSS Mueba emerged player of the match, and best goalkeeper in the tournament following his repeated saves.
The final results of the entire 2026 FENASCO GAMES results as published by the organization committee puts the Southwest delegation First, followed by the delegation from the North and third the delegation from the South region.
With the victory, GSS Muebah Nninong the South West Region’s representative is 2026 champion of the FENASSCO League A games.
The Principal of GSS MUEBAH-NNINONG Nhon Enongene Joseph in a jubilant mood acclaimed the team for their steadfastness and dedication to excellent football.
” The boys were really determined and we thank God for this victory” he said.
Reacting to the victory the Mayor of Bangem Nhon Ekungwe Christopher Kang said it’s the results of hard work.
” Let it be known all over the world the GSS MUEBAH-NNINONG is national champions of the 2026 FENASSCO A Games” he touted.

Talking to Eco OUTLOOK via Whatsapp after the victory Dr ABWE Diabe Ephraim a prominent Nninong elite from Mueba lauded the dedication to hard work by the team and the staff of the school that led to the victory.
” This FENASCO A Gold by GSS Muebah Nninong is the result of faith, handwork and a very strong community spirit and action,” he said.
Between late 2016-2019, there was no GSS Muebah-Nninong; the Anglophone crisis had driven every student and consumed some vital infrastructure.
It took community mobilization by Nninong Elite under NICDA, the Ephraim Abwe Diabe Platforms of Excellence, and educational authorities (the principals and respective delegates of Secondary Education for KMD Metuge, Enongene and Njikang, to have and maintain the overall enrollment of 55 students, who have today 26/04/2026 conquered the entire Country as reps of the SWR at FENASCO A games. The pay for good work is more work. Nhon Enongene Joseph (Principal ) and his students have the huge challenge to keep the country dreaming, even as the GCE is around the corner,” Dr. Ephraim Abwe Diabe Cameroon’s Community Volunteer-in-Chief Son of Muebah-Nninong in Bangem pointed out.
