HRH Chief Mbong Walters elected  Secretary General of KM Chiefs Conference.

   HRC Chief Mbong Walters Mesumbe of Kack has been elected as the secretary general of the Kupe Muanenguba chiefs conference in a general assembly meeting held  in Bangem, the Divisional headquarters June 8, 2024.                              Prior to his election,  the deputy director of the national school of forestry and wildlife served as the secretary general of the Tombel chiefs conference.

   His efforts in galvanizing and consolidating the ideals of peace and unity, as well as his stewardship in serving the people, have won him the admiration of the population of Kupe Muanenguba, making him stand tall amongst his peers. His election as secretary general of the kupe Muanenguba chiefs conference is a significant milestone in the development of the division.

  The charismatic leader is expected to explore the rich human potentials in harnessing the political and  socio economic welfare of the grassroot people and to continue in his crusade for the return of peace in the division. The euphoria that characterized the election of HRH Chief Mbong Walters Mesumbe was greeted with pomp. Reacting to the election Chief Mbong Walters Express satisfaction promising to work hand in glove with the new executive headed by Chief Nnane Nnoko Emmanuel as President. “I feel honoured, privileged and humbled to have been chosen by my peers to serve them in the capacity of Secretary General of the Kupe Muanenguba Chiefs conference. The task is enormous, challenging but Divine and I trust that together with the entire new executive headed by Chief Nnane we shall serve them loyally and satisfactorily” Mbong Walters said.
