“We Trust President Biya”: Kupe Muanenguba Hears Minister Elung Paul in Local Campaign Tour

Tombel/Bangem Communities in Kupe Muanenguba have spent the last few days in high political gear as Minister Elung a familiar and respected political figure in the region, embarked on a proximity campaign urging locals to back President Paul Biya in the upcoming election.

Minister Elung’s tour has taken him through Bangem, and Tombel subdivisions, where he has held close-knit conversations with village chiefs, quarter heads, women’s groups, and youth associations. His message is simple but firm: “President Biya is our best bet for stability and continuity.”

The minister has also been holding consultative talks here in Tombel with different communities: bike riders, drivers union, the women network, the youth league, the North West, West Region and the Muslims.

In a heartfelt address in Tombel Council hall,  Mister Elung said, “We are not here for fanfare. We are here because we believe in experience, in steady leadership, and in the unity of our country.”

Many community members welcomed the campaign with open hearts.

Speaking in clear, realistic, and persuasive terms, Minister Elung  urged the population to remain loyal to President Paul Biya, highlighting his unparalleled experience, statesmanship, and steady leadership as critical assets in navigating Cameroon’s current complex socio-political and economic challenges.

 

He promised to take their concerns to higher authorities and stressed that only through continuity can development projects in Kupe Muanenguba be completed and expanded.

 

In what feels more like a community listening tour than a typical political rally, Minister Elung’s approach appears to be strengthening the bond between the people and the party, rekindling hope for progress through direct engagement.

Judging by the enthusiastic response from the various segments of the population, it is evident that the Minister’s message is resonating widely. Across the board, communities are pledging a massive turnout and resounding victory for President Paul Biya, a leader they say has consistently stood by the people of Kupe Muanenguba.
