Shock and disbelief in Nkongsamba after a heated domestic argument reportedly turn TRAGIC.
According to reports, a woman stabbed her husband to death during a violent dispute at home.
Tragedy struck in Nkongsamba on the night of March 7–8, 2026.
The victim, Bengono Mathurin, a senior peacekeeper serving at the Nkongsamba 3rd Public Security Police Station, was allegedly stabbed by his wife during a heated fight at home.
Sources say the situation escalated quickly, leading to the fatal stabbing.
 Shortly after the incident, the officer’s colleagues tracked down and arrested the suspect, who is now in custody.
Reports say the woman grabbed a dagger and stabbed him during the confrontation. Sadly, the officer did not survive the injuries.
His body has been taken to the Nkongsamba Hospital mortuary, while his wife is currently being held at the Central Police Station in Nkongsamba as investigations continue.
