NEXSA 79ners MOURN, Ngusi community weep in agony ( ADIEU Justice Kogendille Frankline).

Today The Class of GSS Nyassso Ex-students NEXSA 79 join the Ngusi community to celebrate the life of our dear brother, Justice Kogendille Franklin Mesumbe, who died in Douala early September 9 ,2024 after a brief illness.  He was not only a cherished member of 79ner family  6th Batch and assiduous Ngusi community elite but also a distinguished magistrate and jurist.

According to the PRESIDENT GENERAL OF NCUDA.(NGUSI CULTURAL AND DEVELOPMENT ASSASSOCIATION Justice Metiege DIVINE, Justice Kogendille was a beacon of integrity, justice, and compassion. From an early age, he exhibited a keen intellect and a profound sense of fairness, traits that would define his illustrious career in the judiciary. His unwavering commitment to justice and the rule of law earned him the respect and admiration of his peers, colleagues, and the community at large.

“In his professional life, Justice Kogendille Franklin served with distinction and honour. His judgements were always characterized by thoroughness, fairness, and an unyielding dedication to upholding the law. He believed deeply in the power of the legal system to bring about positive change and to safeguard the rights and freedoms of all individuals. His work was not just a career but a calling, one that he pursued with relentless passion and unwavering dedication,” Justice Metiege attest.

Beyond the courtroom, Justice Kogendille Franklin was a loving brother, a caring friend, and a mentor to many. His wisdom, guidance, and kindness touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration to our Ngusi family, always ready with a kind word or a piece of sage advice.

Justice Kogendille Franklin’s legacy is not just in the numerous cases he adjudicated or the legal precedents he set, but in the lives he touched and the difference he made in the world. He leaves behind a legacy of justice, compassion, and integrity that will continue to inspire and guide us.

His 7ner classmates have not ceased to express their grief and shock in their class Whatsapp group since the news broke out early MONDAY morning.

“ Whaaaat? I communicated with him two wweks ago when he complained he hasn’t received his class fabric. I then sent him one. Oh no what happened in between” Is this some joke! Exclaimed Dr Balbina Ebong Mesame on hearing the news.

Like Balbina, the forum has for the entire day been immersed in grief messages virtually all members in real classmate solidarity.

Today, as we say our final goodbye, we remember Justice Kogendille Franklin not just for his professional achievements but for the loving, compassionate, and principled man he was. His spirit will live on in our hearts and in the values he championed.

Rest in peace, dear brother. Your legacy will continue to shine brightly in our lives and in the annals of justice forever.
