Militants of the ruling CPDM party in Tombel 111 and Bangem 1 came out massively  to Celebrate  the 42 anniversary of President Paul Biya’s accession to power.

In both Bangem CPDM 1, and Tombel 111 sections it was a mega thank you message from the militants to the head of state for approving the construction of the Bangem-Nguti stretch of road in progress.

In Bangem the ceremony was presided over by the Central Committee envoy Mbong Micheal in the presence of the SDO for Kupemuanenguba, Ekema Williams Mungambo and the mayor of Bangem, Ekungwe Christopher.

The mayor welcome the militants and all the guests, calling on all to remain steadfast behind the head of state.

Mbong Micheal for his part thanked the head of state for listening to the yearnings of the population for a road network linking Bangem and Nguti. He implored militants to register massively in readiness of up coming elections.

“ Bangem is strongly behind the head of state and we remain resolutely steadfast in our support,” he said.

 In Tombel all the 46 Subsections that make up Kupe Muanenguba III Section showed up for the anniversary celebrations on 6 November 2024. Men, women and youths by their numbers congregated at the Tombel Government School field to celebrate ,

The militants also celebrated the calm and peace that has returned in their community with respect for state institutions, incarnated by the man of the  achievements in 42years, stating that the appointment of sons and daughters of the municipality counted as some of several blessings.

While addressing militants, Mbulle Valentine, Section President highlighted that “it is with the New Deal that Cameroon has forged the indomitable mentality, the fighting spirit, the resilience that makes us the envy of others”. He applauded fellow comrades for burying the hatchet after the re-organisation of the party’s basic organs adding that the prevailing enthusiasm shows that “Kupe Muanenguba III is forging ahead as one man”.

 Mbulle Valentine equally recognized and saluted Minister Elung Paul Che’s magnanimity as the “hunting dog” of the community. He called for more development of the municipality and the division, which is in dire need of roads to ease the movement of people and goods.
