Sad News for Embezzlers, Money Launderers in Cameroon and Africa as U.S. Treasury launches global crackdown on hidden dollar wealth

Embezzlers of state funds in Cameroon and other African countries hidden in dollars and other assets in the US are in big trouble the US launch move to freeze all illegal dollar assets.

 In a historic and unprecedented move, the United States government according to Media reports Monday April 14, 2025, has announced a full-scale global offensive against illicit dollar assets, targeting black market reserves, offshore accounts, and pallets of untraceable cash hidden in vaults around the world.

Under the recently passed Global Corruption Accountability and Clean the Dollar Act, any U.S. dollar that is unreported, hoarded, or linked to tax evasion or financial crime will be canceled and blacklisted as part of a massive digital tracking overhaul.

“If your dollars aren’t clean, they’re trash,” said a senior U.S. Treasury official.

“We’re weaponizing transparency.” The days of hiding wealth in the shadows are over.”

Key measures effective immediately:

A new serial number tracking system cancels unregistered banknotes linked to the black market or criminal transactions.

 

Offshore banks must declare all significant dollar holdings within 90 days, or face US sanctions and asset freezes.

Task forces have already begun working with Interpol, the FATF, and global whistleblower networks to expose US cash hoards in Dubai, Switzerland, the Caribbean, and parts of Africa and Asia.

Corrupt officials with undeclared offshore accounts

The business elite who keep their money in safes, bunkers, or luxury properties purchased with cash

US allies join the hunt

 

Germany, Mexico, and Turkey have pledged support for the initiative, and some governments are preparing their own “dollar accounting audits.” Pakistani intelligence sources confirm that cooperation is underway to uncover black money linked to illegal imports and the political elite.
