Dr Cecile Ndjebet who was recently honoured for her career-long dedication to campaigning for the involvement of women in forest management and their right to forested lands and resources was among participants across the globe in the London Climate week.
Dr Cecile Ndjebet who attended a series of panel discussions on Forest and biodiversity conservation made strong calls stakeholders to translate climate targets into concrete action, and the mechanisms this requires. Her presentations and discussions highlighted the important role women play in forest conservation across the globe and especially in Africa and the need concerted action to sustain this drive.
