The government of Côte d’Ivoire has chosen to honor the Designated National Platform (PACJA – Côte d’Ivoire) for its hard work, colossal efforts deployed by its members in the service of a cause that transcends borders and personal interests.
The government, through this noble gesture, recognizes not only the work accomplished, but also the passion, determination and solidarity that drive each member of the platform.
“In my sincere thanks to them, I want to express my gratitude for the inspiring example they embody. Their dynamism, their unity and their unwavering commitment to climate justice are beacons in the darkness, sources of light and hope in an often tormented world,” the government official said.
According Dr Augustine Njamnshi of PACJA, ” through recognition, the government of Côte d’Ivoire is offering much more than a simple tribute. It offers validation, encouragement to persevere in this noble struggle for a better future. And it is with a heightened sense of responsibility that I commit on behalf of PACJA to continuing to work alongside my colleagues, to cultivating this dynamic of solidarity and collective action,” he said.
” May this recognition be a catalyst for even bolder actions, for even more concerted efforts in favor of climate justice and the doubling of adaptation finance for Africa,” he added.
