MAGRABI ICO Cameroon Eye Institute Celebrates Day of African Child at PROMOTE 2026

The MAGRABI ICO Cameroon Eye Institute, MICEI marked a significant presence at the 2026 governments organized economic exhibition dubbed PROMOTE with the celebration of Day of African Child 2026. The event also coincided with the celebration of the Day of the African Child, 2027.

Ā The Magrabi ICO Cameroon Eye Institute organized a special ceremony to commemorate this day.

The historic Day at the premises of the hospital at Ā Obak saw hundreds of children, staff and guests at the facility to celebrate the Day under the theme “”Ensuring universal access to water, sanitation and hygiene for every child in Africa”.

Besides free eye consultations for children , MICEI invited the famousĀ  Children of the Forest dancing group from the Northwest Ā headed by Jato Sonita, animated and performed to entertain and uplift the spirits of the children.

ā€œWe ended by planting a symbolic tree where children visiting the facility can take shelter or rest in the near future. We are so grateful to the administration and staff of Magrabi especially the CEO Dr Henry NkumbeĀ  for celebrating the African child in this exceptional way,ā€ the group acknowledged.
