DEHFOPAD BUILDS GREAT MINDS FOR FUTURE GENERATION, DONATES SCHOOL NEEDS TO GS EBAMUT

Parents and pupils jubilate over free school needs donation

It was a joyous day at GS Ebamut in KupeMuanenguba as Mr. Etiba Divine Ndonge, the Founder and Executive Director of the Dione Etiba Humanitarian Foundation for Peace and Development (DEHFOPAD), officially fulfilled his announced free education initiative at Government School (GS) Ebamut for the 2026/2027 academic year.

To ensure zero financial barriers for local families, the foundation last week on the heels of the beginning of the school year donated essential didactic materials, making school needs completely free of charge for every enrolled child at GS Ebamut.

The accordingly were donation was timely with focus to;

 Eliminate Poverty Barriers: To guarantee that financial hardship does not restrict access to primary education in Ebamut and neighbouring villages.

 Encourage Universal Enrollment: To incentivize parents to register their children for the upcoming school year.

Promote Sustainable Development: To establish education as the foundational bedrock for local youth and community growth.

 Donated Materials

Every child enrolled at GS Ebamut for the 2026/2027 academic year received a complete package of educational supplies. The donation includes: School Bags, Exercise Books, Pens, Pencils, Rulers, textbooks and more Coverage of broader school-related needs to alleviate extra financial burdens from parents.

“Education is the foundation everything else is built on.”— Mr. Etiba Divine Ndonge, CEO & Executive Director of DEHFOPAD said.

HRM Chief Nhon Esong Julius Etiba (Traditional Ruler of Ebamut) for his part, described the intervention as highly timely, noting that the gesture ensures “no child will be left behind because of poverty.”

Mr. Mpang James (PTA Chairman) welcomed the initiative warmly and publicly urged parents from Ebamut and surrounding communities to seize this opportunity to enroll their children immediately.

Mr Ngolle Charles Ndille, the Head Teacher of GS Ebamut appreciated the gesture on behalf of the administration, staff, PTA, and pupils of Government School Ebamut, expressing profound gratitude to the Dione Etiba Humanitarian Foundation (DEHFOPAD) for incredibly generous donation ahead of the 2026/2027 academic year.

“The timely support provides our school and pupils with vital resources that directly enhance our learning environment. This act of benevolence relieves financial burdens on many parents and greatly motivates educators and pupils to strive for academic excellence,” he said.

 He deeply appreciated the commitment to community development and investment in the future of our children.

Geographic Scope & Future Vision

The beneficiary institution, GS Ebamut, is located in Bangem Subdivision, Kupe-Muanenguba Division. As a native of Ebamut village, Mr. Ndonge has structured this intervention under DEHFOPAD’s broader commitments to peace building, sustainable development, and youth empowerment. The foundation plans to sustain and gradually expand this education program through strategic fundraising and future partnerships.

Highlighting its holistic approach to community development, DEHFOPAD has also extended its corporate social responsibility by emerging as the official sponsor for the upcoming Muanenguba Twin Lakes Race scheduled for January 9, 2027.
