The Minister of Communication, Government Spokesperson, René Emmanuel SADI on April 11,2024 received in audience the Director of the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office for West, Sahel, Sudan and Southern Africa, Ms Kate Foster.
The audience that lasted above an hour was an opportunity for both personalities to look at shared interest between Cameroon and the UK as well as reflect on Commonwealth values like democracy, good governance and press freedom from the Cameroonian and British perspectives.
After the in-camera meeting, Ms Kate Foster stated that discussions will continue on how to foster the bilateral relation with Cameroon.
” _ We look forward to continuing discussions in those areas of shared interest like biodiversity and climate change in which Cameroon has a globally important role to play _ ” Ms Kate Foster noted.
Ms Kate Foster was accompanied by H.E. Barry Lowen, British High Commissioner and Mr Cleantine Asongwe, Senior Political Advisor.
